Who are the organizers of the DEI Cohort?

While every participant makes contributions during our sessions and is welcome to suggest speakers, most of the behind-the-scenes work is done by these three co-chairs:

Cynthia Griffin

Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program Manager

Cynthia is an experienced Recruiter with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. Skilled in Coaching, Sales, and Applicant tracking systems. She graduated from Ventura College.
Glenn Gutmacher

former VP Global Talent Sourcing & Recruitment Marketing Mgr.

State Street Corporation


Glenn created the first online self-paced talent sourcing course in the '90s and has since trained thousands worldwide. An evangelist of JavaScript bookmarklets and teaching sourcers to code, he writes many industry articles, answers countless questions on Facebook groups, and presents at dozens of industry conferences including HRTX/RecruitingDaily, SourceCon/ERE, SOSU, Global Talent Acquisition Day, etc. He created SourceCon Labs (2009) and its Programmers & Automation track (2017). In addition to DEI Cohort, he co-founded another non-profit, Boston Area Talent Sourcers Association, in 2014. After multi-year stints as a sourcer at Microsoft and Getronics in the '00s, from 2010-21, he led on- and off-shore sourcing teams at two multibillion revenue firms, Avanade (tech) and State Street (banking). He is a graduate of Yale University.

Sue is invested in building lasting relationships between hiring teams and candidates.
